According to my publisher, the book just went to the printer today.  It should  
be back from the printer on December 4th.  My publisher says that they don't  
have any idea when it will actually hit the bookstores.  Count on December 15th  
or something.

We've told Springer in New York to take back orders.  There seems to be some  
confusion there.  If you call 1-800-springer and they say that they aren't  
taking back orders, tell them that they are supposed to.
