Fellow Programmers: Is there any way around the 1/60 second clock
resolution provided by such routines as setitimer and getitimer?
I'd like to be able to schedule events on a finer schedule.
Anyone doing this, particularly for audio applications?

I guess a related question would be, are kernel routines also limited
by the same 1/60 second clock resolution? If not, how do they get
around it?

Thanks for any info. I'll summarize.
