I have a library which is rather huge, and was wondering what the procedure is to make a shared library out of it. I have gone through the NeXT documentation, the man pages, the FAQ, and NeXTAnswers. They all mention how to use a shared library, but not how to create one. In the man page for ld, it mentions the -fvmlib option to create a file of type MH_FVMLIB. Is this what I use? What should I do about the static and global data that is managed in the library? Any info or pointers on where to look would be appreciated, Otto -- Otto Lind Coactive Aesthetics otto@coactive.com P.O.
