I recently posted a request for information on DBkit to assist me in designing an application. I requested anyone who might be able to provide it let me know via email. Although no one has offered information, two other persons have emailled requesting me to forward any information I receive. So there are at least three applications being developed that would be helped along now in the design phase by receiving DBkit info. Of course I realize this ain't no easy thing. We need to understand what the database model being presented by DBkit is. So we need to know what operations are supported and some idea of the nature of the objects. That's not the sort of thing someone can summarize for us in a few minutes. But if you'd be willing to consider helping, contact me and maybe something fairly easy can be worked out. I know you NS 3.0 beta folks are helpful--but busy. If you can find the time to respond, I'll pass it on to at least a couple of others. Thanks. c.f.waltrip Internet: <waltrip@capsrv.jhuapl.edu> Opinions expressed are my own.
