libg++ -- 3.0 binaries anyone?

Sorry if this subject has come up before, but I tried checking the FAQ and
Archie -- without success.

I bascially need the c++ libraries (the gnu libg++) to work under 3.0. I
don't know if libraries compiled under 2.x will work under 3.0 'cause I
never compiled them under 2.x and I can't find any binary copies on any
of the archive servers out there.

So, I found the libg++ source and tried to compile it myself. As the gcc
shipped with 3.0 is 1.39.something, I got the 1.39.0 library source.
Doing a "make src" resulted in numerous warnings and eventually barfed
for various reasons. Now, I imagine that if I sit down and spend 4-5 hours
on it, I could probably get it compiled.

But before I do this, is there anyone out there that has done this already
and is willing to share their result via ftp or email?

I'd be even content with stuff done under 2.x as I'm hoping it will work
under 3.0...

Thanks in advance for any help or advice on this,

markus
