-> i downloaded tar-1.11.1.Z from MIT and tried to compile it.
->
-> i need to use the "tar rvf" option which is missing from the
-> next tar.
->
-> can someone tell me if tar-1.11.1.Z is gnutar and what kind of
-> gynastics i have to go through to compile it?
->
-> i've noticed on 3.0 the c include files are in /usr/include/ansi but
-> can't seem to get the configure program or the make program to realize
-> this.
Save yourself some time gnutar 1.10 is already out there in
/usr/bin/gnutar under NS3.0...
