Is it possible to forward a protocol?

I have the following problem:

@protocol KernelThread
- initWithSymbol:(id <KernelNode>)threadSymbol;
...
@end

@protocol KernelNode
- (id <KernelPort>)eval:(id <KernelPort>)inputPort
	arg:(id <KernelPort> *)arg thread:(id <KernelThread>)theThread;
...
@end

Where the "- initWithSymbol:" method, in the KernelThread protocol, refers
to the KernelNode protocol and the "- eval:arg:thread:" method, in the
KernelNode protocol, refers to the KernelThread protocol.
