Do you mean physical knobs, or software adjustments?

Most color monitors I have dealt with do not have exposed color
adjustment knobs, but all color monitors do have adjustment knobs
somewhere, usually hidden inside the case. I don't recommend
messing around with them yourself, but...

If you mean software adjustment, then that is a problem with the
application displaying the tiff. Doing color adjustments using
Display PostScript is fairly trivial, given the ease with which
transfer functions can be installed.

NeXTSTEP 3.0 also has a way of adjusting the default CIE-based
color space translations to RGB according to the ReadBook, 2nd ed.
Check out /NextLibrary/PS2Resources/ColorRendering/NXCalibratedRGB,
and the CIE chapters in the ne RedBook.
