I'd like to write a ramdisk and/or an encrypted filesystem for the NeXT (at first). I assume there are two options open to me: write block and raw devices or write a filesystem. I assume that writing devices is easier. I have the book "The Design and Implementation of the 4.3BSD UNIX Operating System". The problem arises because this book doesn't have enough detail or examples. Are there any examples that I can use out there? Are there better books? -- Miron Cuperman <miron@extropia.wimsey.bc.ca> | NeXTmail/mime ok <miron@cs.sfu.ca> | Public key avail AMIX: MCuperman | immortalcybercomputinglaissezfaire |
