It's already done for you in 3.0 (and there's also > header-viewer in 3.0...) Build a precompiled header for all of /usr/include that you are interested in. You might try something like this: --- NeXT.h ---------------------------- #import <ansi/ansi.h> #import <objc/Object.h> #import <objc/objc-runtime.h> #import <objc/objc-load.h> #import <appkit/appkit.h> #import <appkit/obsoleteBitmap.h> #import <dpsclient/dpswraps.h> #import <3Dkit/3Dkit.h> #import <ri/qrman.h> #import <machkit/NXPort.h> #import <machkit/NXNetNameServer.h> #import <machkit/NXProtocolChecker.h> #import <remote/NXProxy.h> ---------------------------------------- Then in a shell type: cc -precomp NeXT.h -o NeXT.p Viola! A precompiled header (.p). Stuff it in ~/Library/Headers or wherever your faith tells you is right. It will open HeaderViewer when double-clicked. Note that the order you import things will affect the hierarchy structure in HeaderViewer. Read those Release Notes! (There are some neat things in there that obviously aren't supposed to be regarding 4.0!) Linus Upson lupson@geom.umn.edu
