does anyone have a makefile to generate libraries under 3.0?  also, on a
related note, i know that /LocalDeveloper/Headers is automatically searched
for local headers but is /usr/local/lib automatically searched for libraries?
(or is there a directory you can create in /LocalDeveloper)?
