I want to help develop a professional video editor for the Next.
I am a registered Next developer with 1.5 years experience, and I am also
a film and video editor and shooter. I have worked on the Avid and can see
miles of room for improvements. I have been researching multimedia issues
such as synchronicity and hierarchical composition. I have a loose framework
in mind for a program but am most interested in the interface as opposed to
the messy details of time-based multimedia. As a single developer I realize
that it would take me a couple of years at least to complete such a project,
which is why I am trying to find out if anyone out there is working on one
and needs some help. I might even work on spec for a share of the revenue
if I felt that it was worthwhile.

Thanks,

Monty
