I'm sure this has been done already, but I am probably not looking in the right places for the answers. I have a requirement involving saving files where the name of the file is pre-determined (cannot be changed by the user) but I wish to use the Save Panel so the user can set the directory in which the file will be saved. I don't seem to be able to get this to work very well. The Save Panel seems to insist on a file name, on which it does all kinds of checks. Before I go off in all directions adding accessory views to or subclassing the Save Panel, perhaps somebody has already done what I'm looking for? Thanks in Advance, ........ Henry
