No I have a palette with a subclass of Box, and this behaviour doesn't  
happen at all.  My version in Release 3.0 v359.0, which is what came with  
the release of 3.0.

But then again:

It's a well known (and well documented) bug that you can't alt drag objects  
in IB anymore.  So obviouslly we have differnent versions.  Fess up, what  
version number do you have?
