Maybe this is a dumb question, but I'd like to be able to access an array of id's (outlets) so that I can access the one of my choice depending on a selection made at run time....in this case I am presented a range of operations to perform on some data. These operations are listed in a PopUp. It would be easiest to use the index of the selected item to access an array element rather than a hard name like calc1, calc2, calc3...etc. Am I missing something, or is this not a common type of problem? Also, can a non-view object be palette'ized for use in IB? I'd like to be able to hook up one of the above calc objects using IB. ie. drag one off a palette into the .nib Objects well (instantiate) for graphical connection to other objects. Thanks in advance.
