I built it and : this problem was not there. : : Always get the latest release. : : -nick : kline@cs.arizona.edu : Thanks, I compiled up 2.2.2, which fixed the problem. However, I am getting the following error when running gdb (NeXT Release 2.0 (v19) -- GNU version 3.1) on a c++ program compiled with gcc: (gdb) run Starting program: /user/otto/src/iv/src/bin/dclock/NeXT/a.out Invalid symbol data: invalid character \073 at symbol pos 33. If I compile the source modules with the -gstabs option, this complaint goes away, along with most of the useful debug info for C++ programs. So, I grabbed the latest version of gdb (4.6) and tried to configure it for the NeXT: *** Gdb does not support host m68k-next-bsd Is there plans to add next support (back) into gdb?
