There are several tools available to do this. MetroTools is a commercial
product that includes a Type 1 font converter/installer. There are also
a couple PD command-line programs available on the archives. They don't
yet take advantage of NeXTSTEP 3.0's support of Mac floppies, but there
are ways around that.

I've solved this problem myself, and though the program I'm writing is in
no wise releasable (it's not done, and may never be :-), it's not a
difficult problem. You just have to find out the format of Type 1 fonts
in a Mac resource fork, and it's a simple format. Perhaps someone can
post a summary of it?
