I *WISH* I could do any of the above. There's some hole in the kernel that when triggered causes your NeXT to literally turn into a black boat anchor. You can't enter commands anymore. The NMI monitor will come up but won't kill the machine. You quite literally have to pull the power cord. If you think I'm kidding, just notice there is no word at all from NeXT. They know of what I speak, hence their *total* silence. Sure they can throw in this swaptimizer thingie, but it still won't fix this hole in the kernel. |> You must be really desperate 'using' a DOS box. As far as I can tell NeXT has no working color computers. Period. Until they do, I must use PC based color hardware. The worst part is that I'm forced to use Windows! I've got a NeXT, why the @#$! do I have to use Windows? I've used PC hardware for YEARS and it wasn't until I bought a NeXT that I wound up forced to use Windows. Sheesh! Is that a bad case of NeXT addiction or what? Scotty
