I'd like to change the definitions of "show" and its variants ("ashow", etc)
so that they behave differently under certain conditions.
I know that I can't change items in sysdict using postscript codes; that
I can define "show" in userdict and override "show" in sysdict; but what
I REALLY want to do is to change the original sysdict (I have a root access) if
it resides in NeXT as a file, so that the changes are effective for all
applications running on my NeXT.
Please reply to yu@cs.utexas.edu
Many thanks in advance.
Yeong
