This seems like a simple question, but I've found nothing about this in the docs: How are stdout and stderr set when an app is invoked from the workspace manager? Is there any way to recapture that output and still fire the app from the workspace manager? Like an earlier poster, I have an application that works fine from a shell window. It creates all the necessary interface objects that I created via IB. It also displays trace text to the shell window. But, firing the app by clicking on its icon causes it to start then quit without doing anything. Suggestions are gratefully appreciated. Anne Wilson
