several posts have shown recently that key board equivs in panels dont require the command key to be pressed, unlike windows. but if a button has a sound associated with it, the sound is played if the button is pressed using the mouse but not when using the keyboard. why? I thought the whole point of keyboard equivs was to be "equivalent" to the corresponding mouse action. in my case, a big point of the buttons are to play sounds since the app is a toy for my child. is there a simple IB workaround? I know how to get around it in obj-C and appkit, but dont want to miss some simple fix (there are a lot of buttons) is anything else different between an equivalent and the real thing? -- --------------------------------------------------- Alex Blakemore alex@cs.umd.edu NeXT mail accepted
