I had some problems with news last week, so I thought I had better repost this message. Is SQL*Net required in order to use DBKit with the Oracle Adaptor? Some poor soul out that has been using the adaptor, please let me know. I am getting no where currently with the DBModeler. I find no reference in the documentation to SQL*Net. In fact, the documentations state that only SQL*Plus access is needed. But, I am beginning to determine that this is in reference to access to Oracle, meaning if you have an account you can access Oracle with through SQL*Plus, you should be able to use the adaptor. However, there is a hint of SQL*Net in the DBModeler examples login strings.
