This is not easy, at best.  It would be tough to write a PostScript  
post-processor to separate the pages, particularly so to write one that would  
handle any ps output.

When you write an app, it's easy enough to control pagination and get the  
results you want; see PaginationLab in the mini-examples.  But this can't be  
added to existing apps.

I suppose it could be argued that this functionality belongs in the  
View/PrintInfo/PageLayout panel machinery, but even/odd printing is just the  
tip of the iceberg - you'd almost certainly want to extend this functionality  
to do plates for pre-press.  Where do you draw the line?  (That's just a  
rhetorical question...)

sorry that this is something of a non-answer.  I'm sure a third party could  
offer a better solution.
