I am trying to obtain more detailed information on Renderman than is currently  
available (including what is available on 3.0PR2 ;-).

I know about Upstill's "The Renderman Companion", which, by the way, has become  
scarce in the Boston area lately.

Is info available from Pixar or some independent standardization entity?  Is  
draft information available on "Quick Renderman"?  Are there other newsgroups  
where Renderman is discussed, as opposed to the NeXT-specific implementation?
