Is there a simple way to create the sphere icon used to represent objects in IB's File Window ? Specifically, I would like to have a blue version (like the icon of RenderManager) and have a capital 'F' embossed around the front of it. Also, once I have my own icon for an object that when instantiated from a palette will appear in the File Window, how do I ensure that my icon will be displayed ? I have tried implementing a 'getIBImage' method for my object (using 'NXImage::findImageNamed') but that does not work. Thanks in advance for any pointers, Chris.

By default, Interface Builder provides an image of a sphere. If you want to provide a different image, implement this method in your custom class. Sorry here is a code snippet that should work.
- (NXImage *)getIBImage
{
const char *imageName;
imageName = "BlueSphereWithF";
return [NXImage findImageNamed:imageName];
}
