Topic: Problem in using Text Subwindows under XView (OpenLook)

Using Xview under the XWindow package I have a problem concerning
the appication of text subwindows.

Tying to use a text window not on a file but on the random memory I get
a core dumped >> whenever I hit the delete key <<. Any other key (and
function as cut/copy/paste...) works correctly. The debugger classifies
the error as 'SEGV in doprnt' (this seems to be a XView internal function).

So, what's going wrong?

If you know the source of the problem and how to correct it I would be pleased
to hear of you.
