Does the standard NeXTstep 3.0 release have all the necessary tools for scsi driver development? How different are NeXTstep/NeXT machine scsi device drivers from NeXTstep/486 scsi device drivers? Is it possible to get a second scsi board for the NeXT? Thanks in advance, Eric. ebrown@tap.kodak.com --

I guess you mean accessing an scsi device via a programm, in that case yes. The actual unix device driver is supplied by NeXT. There is example code supplied how to access scsi-devices, exspecially the CD-ROM. > How different are NeXTstep/NeXT machine scsi device drivers > from NeXTstep/486 scsi device drivers? Don't know since NeXTSTEP486 isn't out yet, but I'll guess not so different. > Is it possible to get a second scsi board for the NeXT? As far as I know there is no additional scsi-board avaiable for the NeXTcube, but with NeXTSTEP486 I would guess it's possible to put an second scsi-board in the PC.
