C++ header files under 3.0?

I was hoping with 3.0 that I'd be able to simply compile C++ applications
without going out and retrieving any additional pieces of the development
environment myself. That appears not to be the case, as the compiler is not
finding the C++ header files, so presumably they're not included. Would
someone provide a rundown on what all one needs to do to successfully compile
and link C++ applications under 3.0? Thanks.....
