Ok, i'm new to the NeXT. When submitting your basic:
-----------
#include <stdio.h>
main() // see if the compiler works
{
printf( "Hello, World!\n" );
}
-----------
to the(? well... is it?) compiler, like so:
-----------
cc++ -o hello hello.c
-----------
it (ld) complains:
-----------
/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:
_printf__FPCce
-----------
Where the heck is it finding the symbol "_printf__FPCce", and how can i
avoid this sort of problem in the future. Do i need to link to a special
library somewhere? I see that there is a libc++ in /usr/lib, but it's not
clear what that is for (contains gnulib3.o ?).
Also, I doesn't look like StreamI/O is a feature, in that there is no
<iostream.h> to include. What gives?
Is this a C++ compiler or not?... what about the rest of the system?
Thanks for your help! Email preferred.
pax,
Karl
