Hello, When trying to recompile djf500 I stumpled on this one: former /usr/include/sys/table.h and presumly now /usr/include/bsd/sys/table.h is MISSING !!! You can verify this quite easily by searching for the definition TBL_MACHDEP_BASE which is referenced in <bsd/m68k/table.h> but nowhere defined. In 2.1 it was defined in the above mentioned file. Did I spoiled the upgrade ? (cant check right now, since i have no CDROM yet) Did NeXT spoiled the upgrade ? Will it be fixed in 3.1 ? When will 3.1 finally arrive ? So keep the old version of table.h when upgrading ... Cheers Reimer PS: The restructuring of the headers is so bizzare, that i have the suspect it was done solely to test the HeaderViewer.app .... -- Reimer Mellin, ram@ramsys.sta.sub.org, NeXT-mail accepted Cricket : a curious game which involved suddenly hitting people for no readily apparent reason and then running away.

You did not spoil the upgrad, NeXT did not spoil the upgrade. They just changed the location of the include files. A simple way to work around this is to edit your Makefiles (or Imakefiles if you are using xmkmf, or the conguration files, etc...) adding something like the following: INCLUDES = -I/NextDeveloper/2.0CompatibleHeaders/next (and other similar additions; use locate to find the new locations of your headers -- assuming that you have the updatedb script working) -- Hardy ----- Meinhard E.
