RTFD and the write: and read: methods

I have an object that has some "out of band" data, that I'd like to be able
to save like the Text object saves inclusions in *.rtfd directories. Does
anyone have a good, clean way of organizing the -read: and -write: methods so
that they "automatically" load and save things in a document directory. I
haven't yet been able to figure out what exactly the documentation means when
it says "this data is serialized into the stream". How is the data
"serialized?"

	Thanks in advance
