hi,

I am experiencing poor performance in setting string values to textfields in a matrix.

With a 6x20 matrix of TextField instances, and calling the method clearMatrices (below), the task of clearing the textfield is noticeably SLOW.  Is there room for improvement?

	int i;

	for (i = 0; i < ROWS_PER_PAGE; i++)		// ROWS_PER_PAGE = 20
	{
		// dateMatrix built using IB

		[[dateMatrix cellAt: i: 0] setStringValueNoCopy: ""];
		[[dateMatrix cellAt: i: 1] setStringValueNoCopy: ""];
		[[dateMatrix cellAt: i: 2] setStringValueNoCopy: ""];
		[[dateMatrix cellAt: i: 3] setStringValueNoCopy: ""];
		[[dateMatrix cellAt: i: 4] setStringValueNoCopy: ""];
		[[dateMatrix cellAt: i: 5] setStringValueNoCopy: ""];
	}
	return self;
}
