Hi,

the NeXTSTEP text object doesn't support selection in rotated text. Is there  
any workaround?

Any suggestions appreciated.

The NeXTSTEP 3.0 Text object does.  Both our bar code objects (BarCodeKit)  

and application (Bar-a-Coda) allow you to edit the text portion (a Text object) of a bar code while it is rotated.
