Sybase date functions

Hi;

From within a program, I want to access Sybase database functions to
manipulate DBDATETIME's (Sybase date/time variables) in a similar manner
to the isql functions
   datepart
   datediff
   dateadd
particularly - datepart and datediff.

The only thing I can find in the DB-Library is dbconvert() which only
applies to converting data between datatypes and does not have as much
functionality as I need.

You can use the Sybase server to do the conversion by sending it a command.

E.g

	select
		datepart(month, '5/30/92 15:06:02')

	OR

	select
		datediff(month,'5/30/92','4/30/90')

You'll have to dbbind and dbnextrow to get the results (or whatever method you
currently use).
