DBKit & on-line news feeds

NeXT has a four page blurb describing DB kit and how it can be used for:
.."relational and hierarchial databases, on-line news feeds, and more."
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
With my netnews colored glasses, this looks like one could implement a
portion of a news reader using DBKit! Does this imply that someone
will supply an adapter for NNTP or does it imply that you would place
your news feed into Sybase/Oracle? (talk about a bulk-load! :-) )

You could pretty easily write an NNTP adaptor. I have been planning
on doing one if I ever get around to it.
