Hi, I am trying to get the NeXT to sample a sound only when there is a certain level of sound present (i.e. wait until there is a sound before sampling it). I am using the SNDStartRecording() command to sample the sound (in the background) and then repeatedly calling the SNDSamplesProcessed() command to find out when the next sample has been fetched. I want to look at each sample if possible (or at least every 20th or so). Am I on the right lines, or does anybody know of a better way of doing this??
