Maybe somebody can clarify something for me. In the Text reference, the description for getMinWidth:minHeight:maxWidth:maxHeight says that this method will calculate the minimum width and height needed to contain the text. I interperet that as being the rect that will contain the text in the Text view. For example if I have a Text view with a size of 500 x 500 and it is half full of text (top to bottow), I would expect the getMinWidth: method to report a minimum width of 500 (assuming the text goes all the way across the view) but a height of 250 since text only goes halfway down the view. What it is doing is reporting a width and height of 500. This seems kind of sense less because I can get that information from the bounds of the view. Am I confused or is this not acting properly? I'm running 3.0 PR2 and don't have any 2.X machines left so if somebody could verify this on a 2.0 machin, that would be great. Gosh, I'd call NeXT Developer support, but I can't afford it! ;) Paul -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul Marcos | Internet:atomic@netcom.com | (415) 960-3539 NeXT Mail Happily Accepted
