For a friend I was asked to post this question: Please reply to : rock@brs.de (I hope I'll get this right though, I have to translate it from German...) He needs to get more information on the UNIX kernel and how to manipulate it. Especially he's interested in Loadable Kernel drivers. (Yes he *has* been reading the book "Writing loadable kernel servers" from NeXT) Furthermore he writes me that he would like to know where the data is put, and where he can find the low-level UNIX I/O variable names. Any UNIX-gurus out there who could help him? BTW. If you have any questions, please mail him at rock@brs.de.
