I am beginning to learn about the interface builder and have been working the examples in chapter 8 of the Nextstep Concepts manual. I have more or less succeeded in doing Examples 1-3. However, one thing seems puzzling: The calculator examples (2 and 3) run fine as applications, but when I try to test them using the Test Interface command in IB, nothing happens when I tell it to do a calculation. However, the 'edit' functions seem to work fine in Test Interface mode. Did I make a mistake or is it a quirk of the IB? -- Peter Seidl Heavy Ion Fusion Accelerator Research Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory Berkeley, CA 94720 seidl@next1.lbl.gov
