I have pulled the PD version of korn shell (ksh) from
mcsun.eu.net and attempted to make on my NeXT.  I seem
to have hit one difficult incompatibility with the 
WIF... macros.  As defined in wait.h, these expect a
union on the NeXT, but the code (SYSV compatible)
expects these macros to take an int.  

Has anybody managed to untangle this for the NeXT?
Is there a version of ksh on another archive which is
compatible with the NeXT?
