Lately there have been several posts about NS3.0 features that are undocumented; at least, they're undocumented if you rely on the on-line manuals. I just found a new one (to me, anyway) - I apologize if this was already posted and I'm wasting bandwidth. If you drag a file (or folder) to a floppy disk, and the file is too large, the workspace manager now asks if you want to create a compressed multi-volume archive. It appears to use gnutar in some fashion. Question: how do you do this from a shell command-line? I spent a while trying to figure this out - and was about to post asking for help - when I discovered that NS3.0 would do it for me. Dave -- David M.
