When upgrading to 3.0pr1 my ND cube would no longer support a
MegaPixel display.  It still didn't work under pr2 and I was
completely dismayed when it still didn't work under the golden
release. (After I had reported the bug twice).

Well..I just upgraded another cube from 2.1->3.0 and the second
monitor worked fine.  Hmm....the difference was that both monitors
were attached when I upgraded the second cube, whereas they were not
on the first.  (I replaced the second monitor with a SoundBox when it
quit working under pr1).

Anyway, to make a long story short, seems that the NI database gets
hosed if you upgrade without a second monitor (as witnessed by 4
upgrades here at Indiana U...your mileage may vary).  You can see this
by:

lothario:/u/tagreen(7)> niutil -read . /localconfig/screens/MegaPixel
name: MegaPixel 
slot: 0 
unit: 0 
bounds: 324550 270460 -12 0 
active: 1 
_writers: * 

By putting a valid value in for the bounds property you can get your
second monitor back.  Hope this saves someone alot of time and
headache.  I'll also mail this to the bug list at NeXT.
