Ok, despite some other communication programms, I'm still working with the good old tip. Together with Stuart, it makes a
fabulous VT-100 emulator, but I found some things, that I don't like at all:

1. Sometimes, I'm not able to write in lowercasse anymore, just in uppercase. That's not that bad in a chatter, but you're in a real
f@#ed up situation, when this happens while a session on a case-sensitive environment like UNIX or LP-MUD!

2. does the ~t command work, or doesn't it ? (After issuing this command, I had to remove tip from memory, didn't do anything
at all anymore)

3. how to get a proper end of ~<-transmission under UNIX (cat some.text; echo ^A doesn't work)

4. Is there a descrpition of cu and .tiprc ?

5. How to resume a tip connection (modem still online, but tip is terminated) ?
