Hello,

Where might I acquire information regarding
public domain, shareware, and commercial
MIDI sequencing/music editing software?

What I'm looking for is something where I
would be able to play a passage on my keyboard (Yamaha DX-7)
and have it captured by the sequencing software
in traditional music notation format. And then be
able to edit the passage on the next by moving
notes around, changing note durations, etc. And
then be able to play back the edited passages through
my synthesizer.

Am I crazy to believe such software exists??

If this information is in a FAQ, please flame
me and tell me where I might find the appropriate
FAQ archive containing this information.

Any peice of information you may, not matter how
small, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Keith
