Lones Smith writes Hi, This is very easy for anyone who has used NG for a while. The subject may overstate the case. But how do I get rid of (or at least hide) from the newgroup browser all the myriad of groups that I don't wish to wade through? (When I was on a simple unix mainframe account, as soon as I unsubscribed from a group, it was gone. Granted that the number of groups that I don't want to view is 10000 times more than the ones I do, I'd rather just see ones I elect to.) Thanks. Here is how you do it... select "Group" and select "List View" or just do the key equivalent <command><shift><l>. This will list your subscribed groups in list view (you can always go back to browser view and re-subscribe to groups should you desire). In this view you can also have the groups sort so that the ones with new messages will be at the top. Good luck. -- *************************************** Alex Currier Texas Union MicroCenter University of Texas at Austin NeXTmail Preferred
