Using Mme generated tiff images in Movie

I've come across an interesting problem with Movie. If I generate eps
files and convert them to tiff, Movie will not display these tiff files
properly if there are more than 9 of them.

When Movie first opens the anim directory, the control panel pops up along
with a one pixel wide window about 40 pixels high for the tiff file.

Anybody see this behavior before or know a fix?

I know that Mme has an animation feature, but Movie has some features
which make it more convienent in some circumstances.
