With the recent spate of articles regarding problems getting the Digital Librarian to indexing correctly under NS 3.0, I have an even sadder tale to tell. I've never been able to get it to index under NS 2.2. I follow the steps as per the NeXT User manual, and DL whirs and clicks away just as advertised, telling me all the while that it's "Creating" an index. However, when it's done the message reverts back to "No index present". It's not a file permission problem because I am the owner of the files I am trying to index, they are in directories I have rwx permission to, etc. Any suggestions? --Gerry Key Computer Sciences Corporation Internet: key@csc.com FAX: 619.225.2583 Voice: 619.225.2504
