As far as I can tell, there are only 2 packages for the NeXT and one of them is still in development. 1. From Dr. Mario Hilgemeier"<megatel.de!hi@megatel.de>" a package called FLIG. The FLIGdemo is on sonata.cc.purdue.edu in directory pub/next/submissions (not secure so beware) Start FLIGdemo once to get the application info needed. 2. From IN%"steve@deltos.com" a package in development called GeoKit. It should be available in Beta in the next couple of months. Sounds like it will be a geat app. There are some other GIS packages that are UNIX, one called GRASS, someone else recalled compiling a PD package from UIUC (I have no idea what this stands for) on the NeXT. For more info on GIS try the bulletin board called comp.infosystems.gis Dr. Mark Powell NOAA Hurricane Research Div. Miami Fl. no nextmail yet.
