Concerning this rumor of NeXT adopting IPT's "uShare" software, and dropping their own code: I KNOW for a fact that this is the desire of at least one of IPT's employees. I also KNOW for a fact that this one IPT employee hopes to get NeXT to bundle both the client and server portions of "uShare" with NeXTSTEP, but only have the client portion be usable out of the box. A phone call to IPT, with your VISA card in hand, would get you a key to enable the server portion. I personally think it's a good idea. I don't know anything about what NeXT thinks about the idea. -- Nevin Pratt, Digital Technology, Int'l Orem, Ut NeXTmail preferred, but ONLY at my REAL email address: nevin@dtint.dtint.com -- --- root root@dtint.dtint.com Digital Technology Int.
