Framemaker 3.0. For overheads the boss prefers light text on a dark background. Easy. Go to master page. Draw a large box, fill it with dark grey. Now import or paste any graphical item into the document, and it's frame is filled with white, overriding the background color. I've tried this with Adobe Illustrator, Diagram, Mathematica, plain tiffs. No joy. Is there anyway to tell FrameMaker to not paint the new frame with opaque white when importing a graphic? -- => Sherwood Botsford sherwood@space.ualberta.ca <= => University of Alberta Lab Manager, Space Physics Group <= => tel:403 492-3713 fax: 403 492-4256 <=
